World Music Amsterdam was founded with the aim of bringing different cultures together through music. By making music together and to be aware of the wide variety of different types of music creates the possibility of the walls between different cultures to break.

The government in South Africa requires that children in primary school should, but there is no special education for children with learning disabilities. Additionally, for a large proportion of children in Klawer not possible to continue their education after school or to work . In Brazil, children are supported by World Music Amsterdam. Salvador Bahia is a foundation called "Volunteers in Brazil".
